  1.     Alter Menu

  3.     You can use this module to incorporate your own scripts or
  4.     restrict accessibility to specific Enlighten menu items 
  5.     by providing a user-alterable interface. The following items 
  6.     may be altered:
  7.  
  8.     + The order of menu icons
  9.     + The order of menu items
  10.     + The actions of menu items
  11.     + The number of icons and menu items
  12.  
  13.     The Enlighten graphical user interface is built from a small
  14.     text database (file) containing objects and attribute lists. This 
  15.     file contains information describing the layout of the windows. By 
  16.     editing this file, you can create alternate interfaces. For example, 
  17.     you may wish to add a menu item with your own script as the action 
  18.     item.  When you select the Alter Menu menu item, a window will 
  19.     appear showing the text database. You can edit the object and 
  20.     attribute lists within this as you need. See "ALTERING THE MENU" 
  21.     on page B-1 in the Reference Manual for more details on using this 
  22.     option.

  24.     Buttons

  26.     The Alter Menu window contains the following buttons:

  28.     Save
  29.  
  30.     Click on this button to save your changes. Once you have saved your 
  31.     changes, you must restart xenln before your changes can take effect.

  33.     Cut
  34.  
  35.     Click on this button to cut the selected text into the clipboard.
  36.  
  37.     Copy
  38.  
  39.     Click on this button to copy the selected text into the clipboard.

  41.     Paste
  42.  
  43.     Click on this button to paste the contents of the clipboard into 
  44.     the database file at the current insertion point.

  46.     Find

  48.     Click on this button to find the first occurance of a text string 
  49.     starting from the top of the file. Enter the search string in the 
  50.     text entry field to the right of the Find button.

  52.     Find Next
  53.  
  54.     Click on this button to find the next occurance of a text string 
  55.     from the current insertion point.  The search will wrap to the top.
  56.  
  57.     Cancel
  58.  
  59.     Click on this button to cancel your changes.
